The polygonal bastion of Itch Kale, along with the adjoining stone-built cook house, a construction of Ali Pasha, were restored and turned into the famous Ioannina Silversmithing Museum. It is one of the 9 thematic museums of the Cultural Foundation of Piraeus Group and unfolds the history of craftsmanship of Ioannina from the 15th to the 20th century. Objects, multimedia applications and texts pay tribute to the emblematic art of the city and the people who served it.
