The importance of sunscreen
Archaeological Site of Plevrona
Once upon a time there was a young and handsome prince, who ruled a castle in western Akarnania. His name was Aneliagos (Sunless) and he lived underground, because the sunlight was lethal to him. He was in love with Kyra-Rini, who was mistress of her own castle (where the ruins of Pleuron now lie). Each night, the prince crossed the river and visited his beloved, but he always left before sunrise. The princess could not understand why, and was looking for a way to keep him next to her for longer. One night she ordered her servants to kill all the roosters. Aneliagos lost all sense of time, so by the time he got to the river, on his way back, it was too late. The sun rose and he died.
