The sculptural composition was initially installed at the Astir insurance company head offices on Merlin Street, in the Athens neighborhood of Kolonaki, in 1973 and is also called Panels of Merlin. The sculpture was dismantled, and each of its 44 parts was cleansed and immersed in an electrolysis tank, so the electrically loaded nickel ions scaled the metallic surface through conducting liquid.
