Doge Girolamo Priuli by Tintoretto
Walk up the staircase. Once you walk up the first ramp, the staircase forks into two ramps. The one on the right leads to the Doge’s apartments. These rooms are reserved for temporary exhibitions hosted in the Doge’s Palace and are not accessible with the standard general admission ticket. Continue straight ahead and follow the other ramp which will lead you to the Atrium Quadratum. Direct your gaze to the ceiling. Our next point of interest, the central panel painted by Tintoretto, depicts Doge Girolamo Priuli presented by Saint Jerome to Personifications of Justice and Peace.
