As you face the raised platform where the council and the Doge used to sit, turn rightward to examine the paintings on the right wall of the room. These are all important battles in which Venice was glorified. Our next point of interest is the 5th painting in a series, which depicts the Capture of Constantinople. It is a work by Domenico Tintoretto (no.20 in the official audioguide).
