Evangelos Kallianiotis was born in 1888, in Stemnitsa. At an early age, he moved to America and enlisted as a legionnaire in the US Army. He was involved in philology, philosophy, and business by creating food and drink shops. He had a great love of books and as a collector, he collected 4341 volumes. In 1967, he returned to Greece to remain at his place of origin, financially strengthening the local community. With the actions of former Director of the Library D. Priggouris, the Kallianiotis Collection has come under the jurisdiction of the Historical Library of Andritsaina and is within the cases in front of you.
