The Folk Museum was founded by the Cultural Association of Women of Andritsaina, in 1981. Today, it is hosted at the stately home of George Kanellopoulos, a renovated, stone building with peculiar architectural features, dating from 1847. Most of the 4.000 exhibits of the Museum come exclusively from Andritsaina and cover the chronological period 1832-1932. Among the exhibits is the chest of Philikos, Panagiotis Anagnostopoulos, with the indication "P.A.1832".
