Our tour starts at one of the moon’s most striking features, Tycho Crater, named after Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe. When looking at the surface of the moon from Earth, it appears as a bright round spot in the lower left, with rays of bright material radiating away from its edges. From space, it is a point of navigation that is impossible to miss, and as we drop away from our command craft in our flit, we will make it our landing site.
